Mee Tin is a former competitive chess player whose remarkable achievements during her younger years made her a standout in Malaysia’s chess scene. She proudly represented the state of Kedah, Malaysia, for six years, earning recognition for her exceptional skills and dedication. Among her notable achievements is 3rd place in the National Sports Council of Malaysia Under-18 Championship, as well as winning championships in various competitive chess tournaments across Malaysia. During her university years, she continued to excel by representing her university in national-level competitions.
Although Mee Tin is less active in the chess community today, her passion for the game remains vibrant. Now focused on her family’s well-being, she spends her time nurturing her children while keeping her love for chess alive through solving puzzles on Lichess, where her puzzle rating of 2234 reflects her enduring tactical sharpness. She also enjoys analyzing and discussing chess games with her family, sharing her insights and fostering a shared love for the game.
